This year's Awards Luncheon was a smashing success. Thank you to all who attended.
This year's honorees stopped traffic with their passion for the arts, shared their expertise and resources and inspired us all. They tapped into their own creativity and achieved business success while collaborating with the arts.
Awards 2008
- Cirque du Soleil presented an act from its latest touring show KOOZA
- Best-selling author and columnist, Lisa Scottoline received the prestigious Avatar Award for Artistic Excellence
- Philadelphia-based hip-hop dance company, IllStyle & Peace Productions, defyed the laws of physics with breaking, popping and locking that amazed.
- The Honorable Michael A. Nutter, Mayor of Philadelphia shared his exciting arts agenda.
- 1,600 fellow "movers and shakers" meet for lunch.
