About the Awards
The annual Arts & Business Council Awards Luncheon was inaugurated in 1985 to recognize leaders in arts and business as well as business/arts partnerships that have significantly contributed to the enrichment of the Greater Philadelphia Region's cultural landscape.
As the largest business and cultural event in the region, the luncheon now attracts 1,600 attendees representing over 70 regional businesses and nearly 100 arts and cultural organizations. It is the only event of its kind to applaud the region's business and arts communities for their exemplary partnerships, which help to make the Philadelphia area culturally rich and vibrant. While the awards luncheon is a major fundraising event for the Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelphia, the event also stimulates recruitment of business people for Council programs and encourages greater business involvement with the arts.
