The Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelphia invites you to nominate exceptional businesses and arts and cultural organizations that have worked together and forged partnerships of excellence that deserve the spotlight and our applause for their achievements.

These partnerships, along with eight other award categories, will be recognized at a region-wide celebratory event on May 15, 2009.

Business and Arts Partnership Award

This award recognizes a successful partnership between a business and an arts or cultural organization. Awards will be presented in two categories:

  • Small business (annual revenues less than $10 million) working with an arts or cultural organization.

  • Mid-sized to large business (annual revenues exceeding $10 million) working with an arts or cultural organization.

The arts and cultural organization represented in each of the partnerships will receive a $500 donation from the companies that sponsor the two award categories.

Selection Process

The awards jury for the Business Arts Partnership Award is an independent body of business and arts professionals from the Greater Philadelphia Region. They are a committee separate and apart from the board and staff of the Arts & Business Council. The jury looks for a clear and detailed description of the partnership, highlighting the exemplary impact of each business and arts relationship. The jury also carefully reviews supporting letters and materials attesting to the exceptional merits of the business and arts partnership.
