Opening up a kaleidoscope of opportunities

Make a difference while experiencing our vibrant arts and cultural community with friends, family, and co-workers.

Dear Business On Call Volunteer, great wall of china

We're almost there!

Slowly and steadily, we are moving towards our goal of re-launching the Business On Call login area of the Arts & Business Council website. Our goal is to have a rolling launch starting early next week – so keep your eyes peeled for your invitation to check out our new look!

Congratulations
to our Current Trivia Winners:

• Teresa Cordeiro, AstraZeneca
• Lynn Keim, Siemens Healthcare
• Mickey Rajan, Siemens Healthcare
• Linda Souser, Siemens Healthcare
• Rhonda Taller, Siemens Healthcare
• Telesa Willis, Siemens Healthcare

It seems that our previous trivia questions were too easy, so we’ve stepped it up a notch. Two more challenging trivia questions for you:

• Philadelphia Royalty Grace Kelly appeared in three movies directed by the Master of Suspense, Alfred Hitchcock. Can you name them?

• In the 1983 comedy, Trading Places, two wealthy brothers from the Main Line, played by Don Ameche and Ralph Bellamy, devise a scheme to reverse the fortunes of an up-and-coming stock broker, played by Dan Akyroyd, and a street hustler, played by Eddie Murphy. What are the names of the two-scheming brothers?

Super Bonus Question:
• In the 2000 Christopher Guest comedy, Best in Show, dog-owners travel from across the country to Philadelphia to compete in the annual Mayflower Kennel Club Dog Show. Name the fictitious Philadelphia hotel that hosts the dog-show, named after a pleasantly-plump President of the United States. Super Extra Bonus: Eugene Levy’s character in the movie suffers from a rare condition that affects his ability to dance. Can you describe the condition?

Send us your answers!
The winner will be the first person to respond with all correct answers - in the same email. Prizes include arts tickets, an Arts & Business Council blank book, and all glory associated for being the winner. Correct answers and the winner will be announced in next week’s update. Deadline to respond: Tuesday, August 17.

Again, thank you for your patience.
