Belarc Advisor
The Belarc Advisor software builds a detailed profile of your computer's installed software and hardware and displays the results in your web browser. This powerful tool keeps track of the computers in your organization, including software licenses, service packs, network connections and much more. All of your PC profile information is kept private on your PC and is not sent to any web server. Nonprofit organizations can receive permission to use the software for free.
PC Pitstop
PC Pitstop provides a free online computer assessment, putting your computer through a battery of tests to check its health, configuration and performance. Then the service will provide a series of recommendations and suggestions on how to improve your computer's performance.

Free Anti-Virus Software: Symantec Giving Program
Symantec offers free software such as their Anti-Virus and Crashguard products, as well as other utlities such as WinFax. Just submit a letter (on your organization's letterhead) via fax or mail to the Symantec Giving Program. Be sure to include a brief summary of your organization, the software you would like to receive, and a copy of your 501(c)3 tax exempt certification.
Free Spam Filtering Software: SpamBayes (works with MS Outlook)
This free application, which works with your Outlook email, learns how to automatically filter spam from your inbox. By showing the program what is spam and what is not, you can keep junk mail out of your inbox.
Send Free Faxes from the Web and Email: TPC
This free web and email based service allows you to send a message to any fax machine right from your web browser or your email software. Your message will be sent with a cover sheet and addressed as you specify.
