This service is the only one of its kind in the region, dedicated exclusively to the needs of the arts community. Technology Connectors provides a low-cost, toll-free telephone number to access professional technology analysts who are available 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week to help solve a variety of hardware and software problems.
Problems Solved
The Help Desk addresses hundreds of hardware and software issues. Our comprehensive support can help you:
- Fix computer errors, crashes and glitches.
- Eradicate computer viruses.
- Install or use new features of software applications (such as Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and more).
- Reconfigure your operating system (Windows 98, 2000, XP).
- Solve problems with your printer, basic networking and communications.
- Diagnose major problems and root causes.
- Get answers to many technical "how-to" questions .

A friendly, knowledgeable analyst from right here in our region will help solve your problem with clear, non-technical language explanations and with simple instructions - often answering calls within 30 seconds.
Although the analyst will make every effort to assist you, in a few areas support is limited including the Macintosh operating system and specialized software applications (e.g., Raiser's Edge, GiftMaker).
Sometimes a problem may be too large to solve over the phone. In those instances, the analyst will help diagnose the cause of your problem and refer you to external technology vendors with appropriate service solutions. You can then use an external vendor on a fee-for-service basis.
Fee
Any nonprofit arts and cultural organization in the Greater Philadelphia Region can use the Help Desk for an affordable annual fee of $50.

Tapping into Help Desk is easy. You can sign up online or download the application and fax or mail it to us.
Before you're ready to create an account, you'll need the following:
- Names and titles of your staff members
- Number of computers at your organization and the operating system(s) used
- A basic understanding of the software used at your organization
- Information on how your computers connect to the Internet
All information provided to us is kept confidential and used only to assist the Help Desk analysts when resolving your technology issues.
